Syndication

Syndication is all about distributing content for re-use ; both by incorporating material from other sources and opening up your own material as a resource for other people to re-use.

MKDoc's news syndication capability publishes a listing of the latest documents that have been added to the MKDoc site in several formats.

The formats available for the syndication of news from MKDoc web sites to other sites include RSS 0.9, RSS 0.91, RSS 1.0 and JavaScript.

Listings can be gathered from anywhere within an MKDoc website. For example if an MKDoc web site has a /news/ document you can easily get a listing of the latest news documents for syndication by appending the name of the format you require to the address of the news document.
