mailto: links

A text component with a simple email address doesn't get turned into a hyperlink, eg info@mkdoc.com but if mailto: is added it does, eg info@mkdoc.com

This would look nicer if the link content didn't have the mailto: text preceeding the address.

Perhaps for consistency any http://example.com/blah address should have the http:// removed? (though this shouldn't happen for https:// or addresses pointing to ports other then port 80 perhaps…?
