File Component

This page contains help and advice about the use of the File Component on the Document Content page of the editor interface in MKDoc 1.0.

Each file component appears as a paragraph with the Title of the File Component as a hyperlink to the file.

This is an example of a file component after the file has been uploaded:

The Up and Down form elements can be used to move the component up and down the page. The Help link takes you to this page and the Delete form element deletes the component.

Title

You should use a descriptive Title for the file, not "click here".

Select & Upload

The actual image uplaod is a two stage process:

First you have to use the Browse form element to select a file from your local computer.

Upload

Then you have to use the Upload form element to actually upload the file to the MKDoc server.
